Self-pay Ophthalmology
The team at Focus Medical Eye Centre is delighted to announce a new Self-pay Ophthalmology service. In conjunction with Mr Shahram Kashani, lead Consultant Ophthalmologist at East Sussex NHS trust. Mr Kashani specialises in the diagnosis, management and treatment of retinal diseases.
He is able to offer services in his speciality as well as general ophthalmic conditions including Glaucoma and Cataracts.

Mr Kashani is a general ophthalmologist, with a specialist interest in complex cataract surgery and the management of retinal vascular disorders.
Since graduating from St George’s Hospital Medical School, Mr Kashani has trained with some of the most renowned medical units in London. Including Kings College Hospital, Charing Cross and Western Eye Hospital, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and Moorfields Eye Hospital.
It was at Moorfields Eye Hospital where he developed his knowledge and gained experience in medical retina and uveitis. By participating in specialised clinics and managing complex cases referred from units across the UK.

This is a simple self pay scheme. Which means you are able to access specialist assessment and management of your eye conditions quickly and efficiently. Initial assessment is £165.00* and subsequent follow ups are £100.00*
